Heaven Rains Maternity and Children’s www.heavenrain.com, has recently relocated from The Grove Arcade to The Downtown Market.  We are excited to have a permanent space in the market and to share in the local community feel that The Downtown Market offers. We have been in business in downtown Asheville for 7 years and look forward to our new location. It offers free parking and a wide variety of shopping experiences and community needs.  Many of the social structures Heaven Rains chooses to support are present in the eclectic local flare offered by The Downtown Market. Despite the terrible weather the last 2 week-ends, I really enjoyed my time at the Downtown Market, and am looking forward to another go at it (probably the last week-end in Feb.-first week-end in March). I have had a great experience showing my art at the Downtown Market.  Just about every weekend I'm there I get commission work and I always get good feedback on what customers like.  I have learned that I need to pay attention to what people tell me about my work and and the Asheville scene has provided that and more.  I have also really enjoyed getting to know the other vendors.  The energy is really good and everyday I'm at the market, I always leave knowing that I've been in the right place.
